What's New!
Flexible PVC membranes can be placed on the roof of commercial and residential structures
for waterproofing. Tony Hobba Architects recently specified the use of a flexible membrane system, designed specifically
for roofs, to be applied on top of a large residential building at Airies Inlet, south west of Melbourne.
Motag Waterproofing were contracted to lay the membrane down. The flexible membrane was mechanically fastened,
due to the high wind loads found in the coastal region. Once the membrane was secured, the roof was covered in
stone ballast to protect the PVC membrane from any damage. This has left the house with a durable, flexible, waterproof
membrane to protect it against the elements.
